ACCREDITATION – COMPETENCE AND CONFIDENCE

The National Accreditation Center of the Republic of Moldova (MOLDAC) is a public institution monitored by the specialized body of the central public administration responsible for quality infrastructure, established under Law No. 235 of December 1, 2011, on accreditation and conformity assessment activities.

MOLDAC is the unique national accreditation body with the aim of implementing the state policy in the field of accreditation and conformity assessment, providing confidence in the technical competence, impartiality, and integrity of accredited conformity assessment bodies, as well as promoting the free movement of products, increasing the competitiveness of products and services, defending consumer rights and interests, ensuring the protection of life, health, and safety of persons and the environment.

MOLDAC carries out its activities in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, legislative acts, decrees of the President of the Republic of Moldova, ordinances, normative acts, and provisions of the Government, as well as international treaties to which the Republic of Moldova is a party.
