ABOUT US

    The Center of Accreditation in the Field of Products Conformity Assessment (CAECP) is a State Enterprise directed by Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Moldova, it was founded according the foresights of the Governmental Decree Nr. 1646 dated 31.12.2003 on the “Creation of the Accreditation System of Moldova”.

    CAECP was notified as the sole Accreditation Body on the territory of the Republic of Moldova with the role of accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies.

    The CAECP was created with the aim of implementation and development of state policy in the field of accreditation and products conformity assessment. The CAECP entrusts in technical competence, integrity and impartiality of the accredited bodies and laboratories, which are performing in the field of conformity assessment of products. The aim of the CAECP is to contribute to the promotion of the product’s free circulation, increase the products competitiveness, protect the consumer’s rights and interests, insure life protection, and security of the people and environment.

    The activity of the Center is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, legislation in force, present Statute and international treaties and conventions Moldova takes part at.

The Center respects in its activity the basic principles of accreditation:

	representation of public interest;
	participation of public administration specialty bodies in the process of accreditation;
	non-discriminatory access to accreditation of all applicants;
	ompetence, impartiality and independence regarding the potential overcoming of any specific interests;
	transparency, credibility and public access to the information regarding accreditation activity;
	assurance of confidentiality and keeping professional and commercial secrets;
	impartial examination of the complaints;
	accreditation voluntary character.

SERVICES

    CAECP offer the following services:

	Accreditation of the following conformity assessment bodies, in both regulated and non-regulated fields:
	- testing and calibration laboratories;
	- products certification bodies;
	- services certification bodies;
	- quality management system certification bodies;
	- personal certification bodies;
	- environmental management system certification bodies;
	- ginspection bodies in the field conformity assessment;
	Supervision through early evaluation of accredited conformity assessment bodies regarding the conformity to the requirements for which was granted accreditation.
	Attestation of the testing laboratory;
	Organization of proficiency testing by interlaboratory comparison.
	Assessment of the entities to be checked at the requires of central administrative public bodies
	To collect, publish and supply information concerning the accreditation activity, procedures and tariffs applied, conditions for accreditation and accredited bodies;
